wellLIFE:
A Diabetes Clinic and Educational Resource Center, we understand the importance of educating our clients about diabetes.
Education is a form of learning and a form of developing memories
and behaviors, including skills, knowledge, understanding, values, and
wisdom.
At
wellLIFE,
we emphasize learning through several steps.
Those steps range from simple forms of habituation to more
complex forms such as activity.
At
wellLIFE,
we offer an educational and informative curriculum which consists of a
program of six educational sessions offered quarterly.
Classes are held weekly at our Raleigh facility.
Classes are also offered online via the website. The curriculum
includes an overview of diabetes, the psychosocial aspects of diabetes,
exercise and nutrition, medication/insulin management, and courses on
the complications associated with diabetes.

Educational Classes

sponsors diabetes-related classes in the Raleigh and Wake Forest
office.

Participants may log onto the computer to participate in
wellLIFE’s
health courses.

Health Professional Training
wellLIFE
provides a diabetes curriculum for medical assistants, CNAs, & RNs
in home health, long term care facilities, & mental health
institutions.
