Biography of Kuburat Ganiyu

Kuburat Ganiyu is a respected Registered Nurse.  Ganiyu received her Diploma in Nursing from the University College Hospital in Ibadan Oyo State, Nigeria and she received a Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) from North Carolina Central University.

For more than eighteen (18) years, Ganiyu has provided services in the medical health field.  Ganiyu spent three years in the neuro-surgery and neuro-medicine departments of University College Hospital (UCH).  She also spent a year in the pediatrics department at UCH.  For six years, she served in various positions for Northwood Manor Nursing Home in Durham, North Carolina.  Among the positions held at Northwood Manor were Assistant to the Director of Nursing, Charge Nurse, Infection Control Nurse, Staff Development Coordinator, and Quality Assurance Coordinator.  In 2000, Ganiyu was the Director of Nursing for Windsor Point Continuing Care Retirement.

Ganiyu specializes in geriatrics care.  Currently, Ganiyu owns Care One Nursing Services and Care One Health Training Institute in Raleigh, North Carolina.   Both companies focus on providing care for the geriatric population, disabled adults, and children.  Care One Nursing Services and Care One Training Institute educate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Clinical Medical Assistants, Medication Aides, and Phlebotomy Technicians.  True to her passion to help people, Ganiyu opened a third business wellLIFE: A Diabetes Clinic and Educational Resource Center in January of 2008.

Ganiyu is a member of the North Carolina Nurses Association.  Ganiyu believes it is a privilege to be allowed to help the client achieve the quality of life deserved.  Thus, Ganiyu’s motto in life is, “I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me”.

Kuburat Ganiyu is married to Ade Ganiyu.  They have two children: Chelsea Sade and Matthew Yinka. Ganiyu and her family attend Victory Fellowship Church in Garner, NC.
